Uncle Cayden got home from his mission in Puebla Mexico the week before Memorial Day. His flight got here an hour early, so unfortunately we missed him getting off the plane. Luckily Dave, Shirlene and Mariah were there to greet him. We got there after he had gotten his luggage. It was a little anti-climatic, but we are sure glad he is home! We sure have missed Cayden! Cayden got to meet Carter for the first time. Hunter was Carter's age when Cayden left. He has sure grown up.
After we picked Cayden up we all went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. You could say they were pretty excited about their burgers.
Hunter enjoyed his "mini" burgers and fries. Anything with ketchup is pretty good for this kid.
We went out to Roosevelt a few days later to spend some time with Cayden. We sure enjoy our quiet time out on the farm in Roosevelt.
Hunter and Cayden instantly became best buds. Cayden was a little nervous Hunter wouldn't remember him, but he had been talking about him coming home for months! He was attached to Cayden ALL weekend. I think Caydo was pretty worn out by the end.
They read LOTS of books. Hunter had to introduce Cayden to the famous Stanley books. They read them over and over and over.
They spent a lot of time working together. They enjoyed digging for worms.
Hunter wanted to wear his hat just like Caydo.
Hunter got to spend quality time with Grandpa Dave- feeding the sheep and chickens.
. . . and of course the dogs.
Carter loved playing inside with all of Grandma Shirlene's toys. Such a happy, smiley little guy.
Reading more books. . .
Hunter even took some books outside and waited for Cayden to finish working so he could read more books.

Saturday evening the Call relatives from Star Valley arrived in Roosevelt. We had a delicious summer cookout and finished the night with smores and an outdoor movie. It was fun to have everyone here. Hunter quickly mad a new friend with cousin Emmy. He had smooch fun with her.
Cayo gave a great talk on Sunday. We are so proud of him.
The Law cousins arrived Sunday. It was fun to visit with them and catch up.
Lots of food. Dave and Shirlene cleaned up the yard and had a food truck come. It looked so good!
. . . oh my sweet Carter bug.
He just kills me sometimes.
