A few weeks ago we took some friends with us to Bear Lake. Susan and Mark Heiner came up with us on Friday night. We got there in time to start a fire, set up camp, and get our tin foil dinners started. We were sitting around the fire when a huge gust of wind camp up from the lake and two seconds later it looked like this. . .
It was so pretty. The blue water looked extra turquoise against the dark purple sky. It looked like we were at the ocean. The waves were ginormous. There were some people kayaking and I was kind of jealous we didn't have the wave runners out quite yet.
We were kind of sad we didn't get to roast marshmallows the night before so when we had lunch, we decided to roast smores too. Way not right? Mark was pro at keeping the fire going.
Cute little June enjoying her lunch
After lunch, the boys enjoyed bocci ball and ladder
golf tournaments.
Of course, Will had to join in with the boys. This little guy can't get enough of balls. I'm sure he was a great help.
Hunter enjoyed the sand toys.
June was a great help in building the sand castle.
This is as far as we got with the castle. I think I may have been a little more excited about it then the kids, must have been that inner child in me coming out. I love building sand castles

Playing in the sand. . . I love June's face in this picture.
Hunter absolutely loves the water. He is my little fish and could not get enough of splashing around in the lake.
Really though? Sorry for all the pictures of Hunter swimming, but he is so dang cute!

Oh how I LOVE Hunter's little curls. Can't get enough.
My two all time favorite boys. Watching them play and wrestle is probably one of my favorite things. Grateful for wonderful Bear Lake and great friends!
