Hunter improved so much this season! It was so fun to see. Last year, he was the VERY youngest. This year he was one of the oldest players and there was a big difference. Poor Hunter is so short for his age that last year, it made it really difficult. I felt like this year, he actually had an even playing field. He got really into the game and understood the concept a lot better. Not only did he realize he needed to score, but he really didn't like the other team scoring either. Last year, it was just about getting goals, but this year he also focused on blocking goals. We were sad to have to miss several of his games at the beginning of the season, since we were in the hospital. Luckily my mom was able to go to a few and then we had friend's pitch in and help out. I'm so happy that Hunter loves soccer.
