Spring Fever

With all of the COVID-19 restrictions, we were desperate to get out of the house and enjoy some sunshine. We went for a hike up Whiting Canyon. We were hoping our favorite "stick houses" hike was open, but the canyon was shut down because of COVID. Luckily we were able to find another trail the boys still enjoy. It felt so good to get out and the boys did great! They wanted to keep going, but with Cooper and Parker, we couldn't go as long as Hunter and Carter wanted. We came back home for naps and then went back up to the mountains that night. We went up Hobble Creek and had hot dogs and played croquet. It was seriously heaven.

In order to get to the trail, we had to hike up the big hill. We usually drive up this part, so the boys were champs! Poor Cooper was tired by the time we got to the trail. I wish this picture accurately depicted how steep it really was!

We stopped for break to eat our lunch.
I sure love my boys!

Just taking a break from hiking to pose for me.

Hobble Creek. . . .
When you need to turn the ho tdogs over the fire. . . use a log. HAH.

Earlier that day we tried out hand at stuffed oreo cookies. They were super yummy so we brought them for desert after hotdogs. HAH. Talk about a dinner right?

Playing toss and catch.

Meanwhile, Parker just slept through it all.
