Sledding Adventure

We wanted to go sledding as a family.  We were pretty cheap and didn't want to buy a sled, but I had a coupon for Smiths marketplace. We headed over there and the selection of sleds was pretty slim pickins... granted it was January, but still. We ended up choosing a 15 dollar plastic sled. We bundled Hunter up and headed for Old Main Hill.  It had been a while since it snowed so there wasn't much and all that was left was pretty much ice. We walked up a little ways and decided to go down from there. Hunter LOVED it the first time, which was good because it broke after the first round! We got to the bottom and Dayton was confused by all the snow in our sled... we picked it up and sure enough there was a GIANT crack all the way down. What a waste! We thought we couldn't just go down once... so we went again and Hunter was NOT a fan. That ended our sledding adventure, but on the bright side we got to take the sled back, got great pictures, and it was free :)
