Orangeville Law Family Reunion

We went to Orangeville over the 24 of July. We had the annual Law reunion. We weren't able to go last year, so it was fun to go this year and catch up with the Law family. Greatest people you will ever meet.
We started there reunion off with a slip in slide in Grandma Laws backyard. The great grandkids had a blast! Hunter decided Aunt Lori was a great splashing buddy.
The babes enjoyed their time in the kiddy pool.

Carter and Ruth.

Grandpa Dave thought it would a good idea to ride on his back. It was a success.

Hunter then came up with the idea that Grandpa Dave should ride on his back. . .
Always fun playing at Grandma Laws
We had tennis and badminton tournaments, chatted around the fire that night, and enjoyed each others company.

The next day we got up bright and early for the 5k run. Dave, Shirlene, Dayton, Kellen and I all ran.
After the annual 5k run, we headed to the parade.
Carter chilling with Grandma Shirlene
and then with Grandpa Dave. This boy loves his grandparents.
Hunter waiting for the parade to start.
. . . and when it started it was a pretty big deal.

The fire truck was cool, until he realized all the candy being thrown around.

He wouldn't stop and never let any candy go to waste.
Hunter got the biggest stash. It was even way more than Halloween.
Getting ready to run. . .

The parade was a good time. This was the first year that Hunter really understood what was going on and he was definitely a big fan.

Hunter got to ride horses in Grandma Law's backyard. He only wanted to get on if Lori would get on with him. He LOVED it.

He could not stop giggling when the horse was trotting.

Hunter tells me. . . "that's my friend Lori!" They got along great.
Hunter then got to ride with Don. Hunter was chatting with Don the whole time. When they started the ride, Hunter asked, "Are you a real cowboy?" Done replied that he was and asked Hunter if he was. Hunter replied, "No, I'm not a cowboy, I'm a horseboy!"

Cowboy Don

The last day we went to Church and then headed home. The boys enjoyed being out in the country and having such a big yard to play in. Hunter especially liked checking Grandma Law's garden. We checked the plants everyday and we had to see if the grapes had turned purple yet. Hunter also enjoyed picking apricots.  Orangeville is always a good time.
