Grandpa Dave came to Mapleton to deliver all of our fly fishing poles and gear. He bought everyone in the family fly fishing gear for our birthdays this year. He decided to come visit the boys and let Dayton and I go on a date. It was so nice! Seriously, isn't he the best? We decided we wanted to hike to 5th water hot springs up diamond fork canyon in Spanish Fork. Neither of us had done it before and we thought it would be the perfect no kid activity.
It was such a beautiful day.
If you look close enough you can see us posing for a picture. Apparently when the spring is really running it covers the entire rock and hole.
We continued to hike above the waterfall and found even more springs. They were much better and more seclusive. It was beautiful. We loved it. We are glad we hiked a few extra minutes to find these away from everyone else.
Grandpa Dave had his own fun with the boys. They swam in the backyard pool and then Dave took the boys hiking in Whiting canyon, our favorite place to hike.
