Jeff and Erika were in town from New York, so we had them over for dinner and played our classic hearts game. Papa had a surprise for the boys, so he came down with them. Papa bought the boys penny collecting books. He had a giant bag of pennies to go through and they spent most of the night looking at pennies with Papa and adding them to their collection. They had a blast. It was a big deal for Papa, he was very excited to do this activity with the boys- its something he did with my brothers growing up. He couldn't have asked for a better reaction. They all loved it and were so engaged, for hours! He taught them all about different pennies, their markings, where they were made, and how rare certain coins were.
