The Law Family: All About Hunter- 7 months!

Hunter is officially 7 months old today. I can’t believe it. Times goes by even faster once you have kids. He is adorable and I honestly can’t get enough of him. I am one of those moms who thinks they have the cutest kid ever. I love getting to know Hunter more each day. He is growing so fast and I love seeing more of his personality. I’ve decided to start writing down a few notes about Hunter every couple of months.

Hunter is a happy, healthy little guy! He is a curious fellow and is now getting into everything! He is almost ready to crawl and gets super frustrated when he can’t get to something. He is pretty good at being on his hands and knees and has nailed scooting backwards… just not the forwards part yet. He is full of smiles and definitely is a mama’s boy. I can’t leave the room without him getting upset. He loves when Dayton comes. The other day we were looking at the window and watching Dayton cut down part of our pine tree. He literally started jumping up and down when he saw Dayton. It was adorable. It’s been fun to watch him interact differently with Dayton and I. Hunter loves it when I snuggle with him and give him eskimo kisses. He is much more gentle with me. If Dayton tries to snuggle with Hunter, he won’t have it. When Hunter plays with Dayton it is all rough. He loves when Dayton swings him around or sits on his shoulders as Dayton runs around.

Likes: attention, bananas, kisses, smiles, being tickled, walks, playing rough with Daddy, standing up, being bounced, playing with his toys, reading/chewing his books, bath time, pulling and grabbing hair, chewing and sucking on anything but food- especially strings, strap, and cords that he can easily grab, getting swung around in his blanket by mom and dad, listening and singing to music of anything kind- organ at church, mom playing the piano, Pandora, wheels on the bus, you name it! Hunter loves listening for birds outside or for the bird sounds on our noise machine. He loves the sound of the vacuum and Dayton’s electric toothbrush.

Dislikes: bottles, sippy cups, binkies, being left alone, rice cereal, and getting dressed after his bath.

Already for church- please excuse his spit up!

Hunter is always the happiest in the mornings. We love going to getting him out of bed. This morning we found him talking and playing with his monster pillow Aunt Mariah made.
