We spent a week in Roosevelt for Christmas. It was our first Christmas with Dayton's family and it was fun to be with them for their holiday traditions.
We spent a lot of time at the USU. We played tennis, worked out and of course Hunter got to enjoy Grandma Shirlene's famous preschool! Hunter loves that place.
We played lots of games during the break. One of our favorites was the drawing/guessing game.
Uncle Bo took Hunter for a ride on his longboard. . . not sure how he felt about that one. . .
We surprised Great-Grandma Law with a quick trip to Orangeville. Since she couldn't join us in Roosevelt, we decided to come to her. Hunter was sure glad to see her :)
It's the Laws' tradition to have a big Christmas Eve party with all of their friends who don't have family around. Shirlene had the house looking pretty festive!
We ate some pretty yummy food!
After dinner we had a rotating game night.
After games we had the traditional white elephant gift exchange. This bear was a hot item!
Hunter really wanted this classic lava lamp, so we were pretty stoked when we got it!
After the white elephant, we sat around and shared our favorite Christmas memories and talked about the true meaning of Christmas. Great way to end Christmas Eve.
Apparently, the Law children still get up quite early on Christmas morning. . . This year I talked them into sleeping in a few more hours. Instead of the usual 3:00 or 4:00 Christmas, we waited until about 7:00.
Hunter was definitely more excited about this years Christmas.
He definitely liked the Christmas tree and all the pretty ornaments.
Hunter couldn't be more pleased with a year supply of Swedish fish in his stocking!
Bo was pretty excited about his cat calendar! Hahaha
Our traditional family books.
I can never get enough workout clothes. Love them.
Grandpa Dave spoiled Grandma Shirlene this year. He did a great job picking out some clothes, especially this USU sweatshirt.
Aunt DeeAnne made the Law family a quilt with some of Great-Grandma Call's robes. So sweet. . . and so soft!
Hunter got Monster Mash! Hopefully he can live up to his Dad's reputation.
Bo was pretty toked about his scroll saw.
Dave fixed us all biscuits and gravy Christmas morning. He even made some gluten/dairy free ones! Pretty dang thoughtful.
Being the only grandchild does have its perks. Hunter gets pretty spoiled. Lots of attention at the Laws.
One of the best parts about Christmas was being able to Skype Cayden. We also got to talk to Jefferson through g-chat. So fun to see and hear those missionary boys.
