We always enjoy our time in Roosevelt. We went out for Shirlene's 50th birthday. When we got there we gave her a card Hunter had made. Inside were coupons for a birthday cake and dinner, Dayton finishing projects on her "to do" list, and for a new grandchild in September. Yes, we are expecting another little Law. Both Shirlene are thrilled for another one.
We spent some time outside. Hunter fed the animals with grandpa and played at "grandma's park."
The boys spent some time at Grandma's pre-school and at the USU gym. They loved these scooters!
Carter helped Dayton finish some projects. They put on new trim, finished tiling her bathroom, and retiled a section on the kitchen backsplash. Looks like Carter will be another great little helper.
Grandma Shirlene taught us a song "I'm getting eaten by a boa constrictor." We sang the song and then she made Hunter is very own boa constrictor that could eat him. It was a hit! He loved it and was so glad he could take it home with him.
"Oh geez, he's up to my knees."
"Oh heck, he's up to my neck."
"Oh dread, he's over my head."
We got out the tunnel for the boys to crawl around it and they had a blast.
Especially when daddy got inside and pretended to eat them up.
Always good food at grandmas.
The most coveted toy. These boys love their magnetic building tiles.
Cayden requested fondue for dinner during our stay. I had no idea that fondue didn't include chocolate. Apparently you fry different meats in oil pots.

We made grandma a special chocolate cake. It was pretty fancy. It had a brownie crust with a mouse filling with strawberries in the middle. On top was a chocolate ganache frosting with strawberries and chocolate chips to decorate (Hunter's favorite part). I saw it on Pinterest and wanted to try it. Dayton assured me it would be a Pinterest fail, but it turned out! Pinterest success. It was everyone's favorite.
We spent out last day at the dinosaur museum in Vernal. I hadn't been since I was a kid. They recently re-modeled it and it was really cool. They boys loved digging for fossils.
Such a fun trip. Thanks grandpa Dave and grandma Shirlene!
