We had a ward Christmas brunch. There was a hilarious musical number of the young men impersonating the bishopric. We heard from families with missionaries out and then Santa came for the little ones. Hunter loved it, Carter was not quite sure what to think of it.
One afternoon, Hunter and I made gingerbread houses. Hunter and his goofy faces.
It was our year to be in Roosevelt for Christmas. It was nice and relaxing and we enjoyed the holidays with the Laws. Bo and Mariah were there, but Cayden and Savannah were in California before their wedding.
Grandpa Dave got out the tractor (we couldn't get the four wheeler to work) and pulled Hunter on the sled. Carter got a tractor ride and both boys had a blast!
Later, in honor of Grandma Fern, Hunter helped me make the traditional Christmas caramels and taffy. Probably the cutest little chef I've ever seen!
Later, Hunter and Mariah made gingerbread men.
The boys were pretty exhausted Day 2, so we took a movie break. We read the Polar Express and watched the movie together.
Christmas Eve, we got out the traditional Christmas instruments and sang/played a few songs.
Then we went downstairs and told the Christmas story. Hunter helped by using the nativity set.
Afterwards, Hunter set out a gingerbread man and some milk for Santa.
Christmas morning on the stairs.
We found our stockings first. Carter couldn't contain himself. We had to eat the fruit immediately! Haha.

Hunter found his stocking, but quickly moved on to his presents.
They loved their new books, snow clothes, legos, and trains.
Poor Carter had to take a break to eat breakfast and take a nap so he finished his presents later.

Carter loved this new toy from Grandma Shirlene. Thanks grandma!
This is what is trying to get a decent picture of these squirmers looks like. Matching Christmas pajamas. They sure love each other!
Christmas is exhausting so sometimes you just need to take a nap!
We sure enjoy having so many people to read stories!
Later that night, we went and looked at Christmas lights out towards Neola. It was just last someone's house and it was pretty impressive.
