Bear Lake

We normally go to Bear Lake of the Hunter reunion over the 4th of July, but there was a change of plans this year and we had a difficult time trying to find a weekend that everyone in our family could go. Brad flew in for a few weeks this summer, so we took advantage of his family being here and went to Bear Lake. It was June. . . which is a little early for Bear Lake so it was a little chilly, but the kids had a great time!
Of course, there were many, many tractor rides for the boys. They just can't seem to get enough.

People went out for a few wave runner rides. The boys decided they liked riding them better on the land than in the water.

Hunter went on a short kayak ride. The water was SO close. I hadn't seen it this close to the property since I was little. It was fun not to walk so far, but it didn't leave much beach. Hunter did not like the "scary swampies," as he liked to call it
We played lots of ladder golf and bocci ball.

We got to spend a lot of time sitting around the fire. The boys never got tired of getting more wood and making "wood piles."

and we definitely got a good amount of smore roasting time, their favorite.

We just love Bear Lake. The boys are already asking when we can go back.
