All About Carter

A little about our new 6 year old. . . 

Carter is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He seems wise beyond his years. He is sensitive and very aware of how others are feeling around him. He loyal and loving. He knows how to make everyone feel better and is a great big brother. He is super sweet, patient, and playful with Parker. Carter is a little bit of a perfectionist and always tries his best. He likes to follow the rules is always well behaved in school. He is respectful. He may come across as shy to those who don't know him as well but man this kid can talk! Dayton claims he has the gift of gab, he can go on and on and on! Carter is a great friend and kind to everyone. He is an extremely hard worker when he comes to manual labor. He can work with Dayton on a project or out in the yard literally all day long. Carter loves dogs and animals. He loves to cook and we call him Chef Carter. He loves art- painting, drawing, and creating. Carter has a great sense of humor and always makes us laugh. He is secretly stubborn and I'm getting a glimpse of those teenage years. He is athletic and enjoys what he likes to call "physical games." (isn't as interested in board games as he is with an active activity). He loves dirt bikes and being outside. He is an introvert and doesn't mind spending time with himself. Many times after school I find him outside playing alone, or spending time in his room. He likes to have that individual time. I couldn't ask for a more sincere, sweet little boy. He teaches me so much and I love being his mom. We got lucky with this little guy. We sure love Carter and that wonderful dynamic he brings to our family.

Carter loves helping Dayton with the bees. We were just glad one of his hives over wintered this year!
