My mom turned 60 and in her true fashion didn't' want any party, celebrations, or any acknowledgement of the fact she was indeed 60. So I suggested we have a girls weekend instead. Dayton was great to take the boys and we traveled to Manti to do a session there before it closed for renovations. We stopped along the way to see some of her ancestors graves at the cemetery and carried on to Cedar. We went and got pedicures then went to a Shakespeare play. We visited with Elaine and then went and visited Terry and Paige Mather. We reminisced and laughed harder than I had in a long time. We got to exercise together in the morning and then went hot tubbing. It was a fabulous weekend with just us two. A great way to bring in the 60s!
