Timber Lakes Getaway

We got a cabin in Timber Lakes outside of Heber with the Harris family over Labor Day weekend. We had fun hiking, playing games, hot tubbing, eating yummy food, and exploring Swiss Days. We learned that was NOT a great activity to bring kids to. It was hot and crowded and the kids weren't that interested. I also brought Ruby Tuesday along with us for the weekend and had to carry her everywhere since she hasn't been vaccinated. HAH. We decided chilling at the cabin was far superior.

We brought the side by side. Dayton had a deer tag for that area and was hoping to shoot a deer with his arrow, but didn't have a great shot. He and Carter rode around all over looking for deer though.

Parker is also a moto head and would be content to sit in it for hours.
Teddy is really into mushrooms and got the boys exciting to forage for mushrooms around the cabin. They found some pretty big ones!

The Carters came up for a day and the boys discovered rock band. They were obsessed.

It brought back college memories for Dayton. I'm not sure who was more into it, the kids or him.
We took the boys for a fun hike. Crossing the log was the coolest.

Look at all those adorable little boys.
Nightly hot tubbing was a must. It was the perfect little get away.
