Hunter was a little bummed his birthday fell on a week day. We always let the boys choose what they do all day and he realizes that the 6 hours in school really messes with his plans.
He requested to also go swimming at the rec center. After, we celebrated with his personal request of smores pie.
Hunter is a fabulous kid. I can't believe he is 8 and old enough to choose to get baptized. Hunter is mature and intelligent. We joke that he is an old soul- that his soul is literally older than both Dayton and I. For his birthday he requested green smoothie, edamame, and coconut shrimp. He cracks me up. He talks like an adult and as a funny, quirky personality. He love school and learning. He is a literal sponge that soaks up everything. He loves to read. After we go to the library he will disappear for a few days. He loves to sit down and read. He loves his Chinese program and is doing well in school. Hunter is very friendly and makes friends easily. He's a good friend to others and that makes me happy. Hunter is very musical. He loves to play the piano and is pretty good at it. He has a talent for it. He recently asked to be in the ward choir and is the one pulling ME along to practices. He absolutely loves board games and his quite good at strategic plays. He could play games all day every day. He loves playing with friends and spending time with others. He loves running around and playing tag- freeze tag base and ball tag are some of his favorites. Hunter is responsible and has an incredible memory. Hunter can be so serious at times but a total goof ball with his friends. He has a desire to do the right thing and is a great example to his brothers. We love our Hunter!
