Hunter chose to get baptized Saturday September 11. Because of COVID, there were a lot of restrictions. Luckily we could have extended family join, but we weren't able to do any sort of program. That was to be done at home and then we went to the Stake Center for the baptism ordinance. He also received the Holy Ghost. We held our baptism program and discussion before hand. I gave Hunter his special baptism book. Each grandparent shared special thoughts with Hunter. My parents were in D.C. that weekend but they joined us virtually. We only had our little family and our parents with Hunter for that discussion. I wanted it to be intimate and memorable. I hoped that he would feel the spirit more with a quiet group.
Afterwards we drove to the Stake Center where the rest of our family met us. Dayton baptized Hunter and it was a special day. The spirit was so strong and I knew Hunter was making the right choice. We had had many discussions with Hunter the past 6 months. We talked a lot about what the spirit feels like and how it talks to everyone a little differently. We've been sharing experiences with him so he can know what it feels like. After Dayton baptized him, Dayton turned to Hunter, capitalizing on the moment asked, "Well, how do you feel?" Hunter responded. Wet.
Oh how we love our serious, literal little Hunter.

Hunter family. Many were not able to attend but we were grateful for those who were able to come.
