When we were in Roosevelt looking at the Duplex, we got some eggs from the farm and Shirlene lent us her egg incubator. We decided to hatch some chickens of our own (since half of our spring chickens turned out to roosters). It took three weeks, and the boys loved watching them. It was so exciting when they started to hatch. I kind of assumed they would all hatch around the same time, but it took almost two days for all of them to finally break their way out. It was pretty amazing to watch them. It's hard work! What a cool thing for our boys to be apart of.
