The boys have been begging for a sleepover outside for weeks. On the night they had it planned, the boys thought it would be funny to pee in Cooper's potty. (It was sitting in the middle of the kitchen the first few days of potty training). That turned into boys peeing all over the kitchen. Dad was in charge that night and did NOT find it as funny as the boys. Instead of sleeping out, they had to clean the house for hours and the campout was postponed.(I will say we have had a hard time getting the boys not to pee all over the bathrooms, but since then there hasn't been one drop on the bathroom floor. I guess they just needed angry dad to come out! Bahah).
Finally one of the last warm weekends of the year they made it happen. Dayton and the boys slept in a tent outside and had a little boys retreat. They loved it. They watched scary movies and told stories late into the night. Our neighbor's cat attacked the tent in the night, but nobody was harmed. Carter did get a few scratches through the screen though. Haha.
