Dayton has been wanting to get bees for several years. He finally decided this was the year to do it. He researched bees and talked non stop bees for months. He was so excited. He invested in some great hives so now we will just see if they have survive the winter! It was a tough year to start beekeeping with such a wet and cold spring, but it enjoyed caring for his "girls."

Dayton bought the kids bee suits and they have been apart of the bee keeping experience right along Dayton. He loves teaching them all about bees and how their colonies work. Well Hunter got over excited the first day they were here and put his face right up to the hive opening. He got stung right on the face. Hunter always swells to bee stings and bug bites. Poor kiddo. Too bad he wasn't wearing his bee suit. I think he learned his lesson though.
