"Blue" and "Orange" were our last two puppies left to sell. I took another photo shoot at 7 weeks to update their pictures. I love how they started to get their curls. They sure change fast.
With just a few weeks left with the puppies, we started introducing them to crate training. Cooper seemed to like the crate too.
We had a fiasco with Zoe getting into rat poison when the puppies were 7 weeks. She still wanted to nurse them, but we weren't able to let her or have her around the puppies. It was so sad. Luckily, Otie is the best dad in the world and cared and played for the puppies. They adored him. He was so good and patient to let them jump and climb all over him. He loved it.
As the puppies got bigger, they were harder to contain in the yard. It was a full time job watching them all and I was constantly counting off to make sure we had them all. Super stressful. We put them in this small kennel for nap times, but then a few puppies figured out how to get out.
"Purple/Clemintine" would get more nervous than the other puppies. She would be flying to Seattle with her owners, so we tried to make her as comfortable as possible. We spent extra time inside with her and lots of crate training. She did great. We sure love how sweet she was!
Hunter loved "yellow/Sunny" from day 1. He was sad to say goodbye to him, so we had lots of hugs and cuddles before he got picked up. We were so happy to find him the best home!
Little "blue" was the last to be picked up. 9 weeks after they were born they were all gone to wonderful homes. Life was crazy and busy with those puppies but we sure loved them so much!
We were having puppy withdrawals so we were able to babysit "Pink/Honey" for a day. So fun to have her back. HAH. she is so fun and playful and all the boys adore her. We were glad we sold a few in Mapleton that we can keep our eyes on.
I never thought I would have dogs, let alone breed, but we sure love them and feel we have the best dogs around. They sure make beautiful, sweet, loving puppies. Carter and Otie have a special bond and I love seeing them play.
