We went to the annual Christmas tree lighting festival at Mapleton City Park. we listened to Christmas songs by the Mapleton Choral and made smores around the fires. 

Afterwards, we warmed up by checking out the gingerbread house contest. Carter and I had entered a house with the Mapelton Mom's group. We were impressed with how well it turned out with a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds. Our theme was, "it takes a village to raise a child" and we had each child make their own house. Carter was proud to show of his house to his brothers.
